Introduction

Paroxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) widely used for treating mood and anxiety disorders. It is particularly effective for major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Mechanism of Action
